MEET SHAWN
Shawn Kessel is a proven leader with nearly 25 years of experience strengthening North Dakota communities. A small business owner with experience in both the public and private sectors, Shawn built a career around service, problem-solving, and steady leadership.
Born in Dickinson, ND, and a graduate of Carrington High School, he spent much of his career in economic development in the cities of Dickinson and Wahpeton, as well as in the North Dakota Department of Commerce, before joining ROERS as Director of Business Development in Fargo where he and his wife Lori reside.
A person of faith and strong North Dakota values, Shawn is committed to helping families and communities thrive. He is running for the North Dakota House because District 27 deserves a representative who listens, works hard, and delivers real results.
